Ahead of President Trump’s taxpayer-funded campaign trip to North Texas today, DCCC Spokesman Avery Jaffe issued the following statement:
“President Trump’s last visit to Dallas saw Beth Van Duyne proudly attend his unhinged rally while Genevieve Collins’ family donated thousands to the Trump campaign the week after.
“President Trump, Beth Van Duyne and Genevieve Collins are all-in with the reckless Washington Republican agenda to dismantle our health care system, which would raise prescription drug costs and threaten health care for tens of thousands of North Texans with pre-existing conditions.
“Today’s visit is a reminder that Van Duyne and Collins are inextricably intertwined with Trump’s toxic Washington agenda that would strip away health care in North Texas.”
