Nearly one million DACA recipients’ livelihoods jeopardized by Congressional failure to find a bipartisan solution to protect DREAMers
DCCC Hispanic Media Director Javier Gamboa issued the following statement:
“House Republicans had six months to reach a legislative solution to protect DREAMers, and on the day of their deadline, we’re nowhere near a solution despite voters’ overwhelming bipartisan support. Speaker Ryan’s inexcusable failure to govern and lack of compassion on this critical issue has created a backlash from coast to coast. The American people are sick and tired of empty promises, and they recognize that hardworking, law-abiding immigrant families will remain under constant attack as long as Speaker Ryan and Republicans control Congress.”
