DCCC Statement On Supreme Court Decision To Delay Hearing The Republican Health Care Lawsuit Until After November’s Election

Today, the DCCC released the following statement in response to the Supreme Court’s decision not to hear oral arguments regarding the House Republican-backed health care lawsuit until after November’s election.

“Rest assured, no matter when the Republican health care lawsuit is heard, House Democrats will continue reminding voters about Washington Republican attempts to rip away their health care during a deadly pandemic,” said DCCC Spokesperson Robyn Patterson

As a reminder: In May, the DCCC, DNC, DSCC, DGA, DAGA, and DLCC published a joint memo outlining how candidates at every level of the ballot plan on running against the Republican lawsuit to eliminate the ACA during a pandemic.

House Democrats and candidates have already begun airing television ads highlighting Republican efforts to repeal the ACA and eliminate protections for pre-existing conditions. Republican candidates have already begun airing ads lying about their health care records.
