The DCCC released the below statement on Donald Trump’s “Second Amendment” comments in North Carolina today:
“The day has come. Having stuck with Donald Trump through his attacks on POWs, Mexican-Americans, people with disabilities and Gold Star families, House Republicans now find themselves supporting a man for President that is suggesting a violent attack against the Democratic nominee. It’s a sad day for the Republican Party,” said Meredith Kelly of the DCCC.
