DCCC Targets Tennessee’s Most Vulnerable Republican for 2026

DCCC’s 2026 offensive target list includes Andy Ogles as Tennesseans grow sour on Republicans’ record of broken promises and higher prices

Today, the DCCC announced House Democrats’ Districts in Play for the 2026 election cycle includes Andy Ogles (TN-05), signaling Democrats’ readiness to reclaim the House majority by focusing on this key seat in Tennessee.

The DCCC’s Districts in Play are competitive districts held by vulnerable Republicans across the country that will determine the House Majority.

Ogles’ addition to the DCCC’s Districts in Play sends the clear message that Democrats will ensure Tennessee voters know of Ogles’ continued embrace of Elon Musk’s extremism and his party’s dangerously far-right agenda that’s raising costs, destroying jobs, eroding Tennesseans’ freedoms, and hurting our country’s future.

Statement from DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene:
“Andy Ogles is running scared, and he should be. From tanking the economy, gutting Medicaid, abandoning our veterans, to making everything more expensive, he has broken his promises to Tennesseans, and it’s going to cost him his seat. The DCCC is already working to recruit authentic and battle-ready candidates in Tennessee who reflect this community and will work to better Tennesseans’ lives, not line Elon Musk’s and their D.C. party bosses’ pockets.”

Additionally, the DCCC has launched nominee fund pages, providing grassroots donors the ability to contribute now to the eventual Democratic nominee in Districts in Play.
