DCCC Targets Vulnerable New York Republicans Who Took Money From Fraudster George Santos With New Campaign

DCCC launches billboard campaign in NY-01, NY-04, NY-17, NY-19, & NY-22

This week, the DCCC is launching a weeks-long billboard campaign to remind voters in several key New York districts just how closely their congressmen’s wallets are tied to serial liar and alleged criminal George Santos.

The billboard campaign targets vulnerable Republicans Nick LaLota, Anthony D’Esposito, Mike Lawler, Marc Molinaro, and Brandon Williams for eagerly taking Santos’ shady money, and reminds the hundreds of thousands of voters in these districts that they deserve real answers for their congressman’s decision to take or hold onto these donations.

While all these Republicans spew empty rhetoric to appease voters who are outraged with their corrupt donor, only two members have actually returned or donated Santos’ potentially criminal cash, and none have taken real action to urge GOP leadership to hold Santos accountable.

New Yorkers deserve answers from these congressmen on why they held onto their corrupt campaign donor’s shady cash for as long as they have.

“New Yorkers want Santos out of office, and these congressmen’s meaningless words aren’t enough to make up for their failure to actually take action to hold their campaign donor accountable,” said DCCC Spokesperson Nebeyatt Betre. “The least they can do is answer these questions.”
