DCCC’s First TV Ad of Midterms Exposes Insurance CEO MacArthur For Making Millions While People Suffered

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee today released its first Independent Expenditure television ads of the midterms, with the highly competitive race for New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District seeing one of two ads in the country. The DCCC’s ad exposes Republican Congressional candidate Tom MacArthur’s record as an insurance CEO who ran a company accused of cheating hurricane and wildfire victims. The ad highlights how while people suffered, MacArthur walked away with $39 million. In Congress, MacArthur wants to help insurance companies increase rates and deny people coverage.  The ad begins running on cable in the district today.
