| To mark this past weekend’s milestone of 100 days until Election Day, the DCCC Organizing program hosted a nationwide Weekend of Action to engage volunteers and strengthen our on the ground organizing efforts in key battleground districts.
The DCCC’s Weekend of Action brought nearly 1,000 volunteer canvassers out to knock nearly 40,000 doors in 40 critical battleground districts, and saw especially high turnout and excitement with base voters in NY-17, OH-09, PA-08, MI-08, NJ-07, CO-08, VA-01, and WA-03.
The Weekend of Action tripled the committee’s June Weekend of Action, signaling that grassroots voters are laser-focused on holding Republicans accountable for their unpopular agenda that’s raising costs on working families, and are eager to elect House Democrats in competitive races in November.
REMINDER: Earlier this year, the DCCC launched The Field Margin, our earliest-ever battlefield wide direct voter contact program focused on arming everyday volunteers with the skills necessary to help mobilize voters across the country.
DCCC Spokesperson Nebeyatt Betre:
“Our ability to strategically energize and mobilize voters across the country will be key to House Democrats flipping the majority. The hundreds of volunteers, shifts, and tens of thousands of doors knocked this past weekend all prove one thing: voters across the battlefield are ready to elect House Democrats in November.”
