De La Cruz, DOGE Move to Shut Down America’s Schools

Monica De La Cruz is all in on Elon Musk’s crusade to destroy Texas’ public schools, harming America’s kids. Their latest goal – as laid out in Trump’s Project 2025 – is to dismantle the Department of Education.

Dismantling the Department of Education will:

• Increase the tax burden on local families who will have to make up funding for their neighborhood schools with increased property taxes

• Jeopardize funding for schools, threatening to lower test scores, graduation rates, and student outcomes

• Threaten pay and jobs for our teachers at a time when our schools need more resources to make America more competitive again

• Throw children with disabilities out of the classroom

• Endanger kids facing antisemitism and other forms of discrimination in our schools
