DEBATE PREVIEW: Mariannette Miller-Meeks’ Failed Record Will Be on Full Display During Tonight’s Debate

Tonight, Mariannette Miller-Meeks will try – and for approximately the millionth time – fail to defend her record selling out Iowans to the special interests. Iowans are paying higher costs thanks to Miller-Meeks doing the bidding of her corporate donors.

Prepare to watch Miller-Meeks try and fail to defend:

  • Renting a D.C. condo from lobbyists whose firm made roughly $2 million working for PhRMA, while Miller-Meeks sat on a subcommittee overseeing drug pricing issues.
  • Voting against capping the cost of insulin the same day she took money from an insulin manufacturer.
  • Taking tens of thousands of dollars from pharma and insurance PACs while voting to raise premiums and fighting against health care tax credits for Iowa families.
  • Voting five times to keep the Iran War going – twice being the deciding vote – while Iowans paid more and more at the pump.
  • Voting to give data center developers tens of billions of dollars in tax breaks, the day before she took campaign cash from a data center lobbyist.
  • Voting eight times for the tariffs raising prices for Iowa families and hurting farmers.
  • Voting to cut health care coverage for more than 100,000 Iowans, raise premiums, and cut rural health care funding – causing clinics across the district to close their doors and reduce services.
