During tonight’s debate in New York’s Fourth Congressional District, Anthony D’Esposito defended his blatant corruption that’s harming Nassau County families at every turn.
Don’t believe us? Here’s just a couple of the many examples.
D’Esposito denied putting his fiancée’s daughter and the woman he was having an affair with on his congressional payroll – a potential violation of multiple House ethics rules – despite a groundbreaking report in The New York Times.
D’Esposito defended his party-line vote to put a Confederate monument back at Arlington Cemetery – despite representing a significant Black population.
D’Esposito doubled down on abortion rights being a state’s right – despite admitting he’d support a national abortion ban and voting multiple times to federally restrict reproductive freedom.
D’Esposito claimed to have worked to secure the border – despite having a non-existent record on immigration reform and refusing to support the bipartisan deal negotiated by the Senate, per Donald Trump’s orders.
D’Esposito tried to claim that he’s not partisan – despite putting his far-right party leaders and Donald Trump ahead of Nassau County families.
Meanwhile, NY-04 Democratic nominee Laura Gillen underscored her plans to protect reproductive rights, secure the border, and stand up for all families across Nassau County.
DCCC Spokesperson Ellie Dougherty:
“Anthony D’Esposito once again proved he’s abused every position of power he’s ever held and pushed an extreme agenda while Nassau County families’ pocketbooks and priorities have paid the price.”
