It’s a day that ends in Y, which means that Scott Perry is once again threatening to shut down the federal government.
Last night, Perry called for “between an eight and thirty percent cut” to government spending, which would include cuts to law enforcement, education, and small business funding, in his new vision for an extreme MAGA funding plan.
The chair of the House Freedom Caucus also said any budget would have to “look at Social Security and Medicare” — threatening the retirement programs millions of Americans rely on.

“Empowered by a new MAGA extremist speaker who led the effort to gut Social Security and Medicare, Scott Perry is once again trying to gut the critical government services that millions of Pennsylvanians rely on.”
