House Democratic Frontline powered by grassroots donors, raise $20 million in Q1 to hold House Majority
House Democratic Frontliners raised more than $20 million in the first quarter of 2021 and ended the quarter with more than $48.7 million cash on hand.
“Across the country, Democrats are chipping in whatever they can to protect our Democratic House Majority. The American people know what’s at stake in the next election and they’re taking action to protect our progress after Democrats in Congress delivered — without a single Republican vote — direct payments, expanded vaccine access that will crush the COVID-19 pandemic, and critical support for families that will cut childhood poverty in half,” said DCCC Chairman Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney.
While House Republicans struggle to convince donors their days of egging on insurrectionists are over, six Democratic Frontliners have more than $1 million cash on hand, with Rep. Katie Porter reporting a whopping $11,525,860 cash on hand at the end of the quarter. More than two dozen House Democrats raised over $500,000 to power their campaigns and protect Democrats’ House Majority.
