| Last night, Republicans were shown once again that their failing agenda will cost them their majority in November. Democrats in Florida flipped two State Legislature seats – Trump’s Mar-a-Lago State House District 87 and Florida State Senate 14 in Laurel Lee and Anna Paulina Luna’s backyard.
Republicans’ commitment to higher health care costs, higher gas prices and higher charges at the grocery store led to massive Democratic overperformances in the state – 13 and 8 points respectively.
Last night’s elections in Florida represent the latest in a long line of electoral defeats for Republicans. As voters continue to abandon Republicans up and down the ballot over their failed agenda and broken promises, Democrats are ready to build on this momentum and take back the House in November.
