| Last night, Republicans got their biggest wake up call yet as Democrat Shawn Harris pulled off a staggering 25 point overperformance in a district Trump previously won by 37%.
This marks not only the largest overperformance in a congressional special election this cycle but the largest in at least a decade.
Last night’s elections in Georgia represent the latest in a long line of electoral failures for Republicans, including in Anna Paulina Luna and Laurel Lee’s backyards. As voters continue to abandon Republicans over their failed, cost-raising agenda and broken promises, Democrats are ready to build on this momentum and take back the House in November.
