Yesterday, Sabato’s Crystal Ballannounced that it is shifting its prediction for Texas’ 15th Congressional District away from Republicans, even under the maps a federal court just struck down.
This rating comes as Monica De La Cruz and House Republicans have continuously left working families behind. From ripping away health care from more than66,000 peoplein TX-15 and taking the food off the table of57,000 households, to forcing families to payskyrocketing pricesfor health insurance premiums, to abandoning Texas farmers and ranchers as Trump destroys their livelihoods – De La Cruz has made it clear that she values her D.C. party bosses over her own constituents.
While Texas Republicans continue to dig themselves deeper into a hole, Democrats are working on the ground to strengthen coalitions and build momentum with Latino communities across the state – leaving voters poised to kick Republicans to the curb in the midterm elections.
