Republicans’ Pandemic Misinformation Campaign Threatens Progress as Delta Variant Surges Across United States Amid Democrats’ Economic Bounce Back
The U.S. economy has surpassed its pre-pandemic size — “fueled by vaccinations and government aid, the U.S. economy grew at a solid 6.5% annual rate last quarter,” according to the U.S. Commerce Department.
The economic news is yet another signal President Biden’s American Rescue Plan is driving our economy’s bounceback by strengthening vaccine distribution, delivering a massive middle-class tax cut for families via the Biden Child Tax Credit, and reopening small businesses to get American workers back on the job — no thanks to House Republicans who all voted against these recovery measures. Instead, they’ve spent full-time driving anti-vaccine and mask hysteria that’s fueling a rise in COVID-19 cases and threatening America’s progress.
