Derek Tran Leads the Fight to Bring Down Child Care Costs

Congressman Derek Tran is leading the fight to make life more affordable for California families and hold Republicans accountable for driving up costs.

As a father of three, Tran understands the affordability crisis firsthand and has made lowering costs a top priority in Congress. Tran noted in a recent interview with NOTUS:

“I talk to [young families] about my work, being on the Dads Caucus, fighting for family leave, [and] making sure that we figure out a way to reinstate the child care and tax credits.”
As a co-founder of the Lowering Costs Caucus and member of the  Congressional Dads Caucus, Tran has fought back against cost raising tariffs and introduced legislation to bring down the cost of everyday expenses – from child care and groceries, to baby formula.
