Derrick Van Orden Votes NO on Against Additional Relief for Farmers

Van Orden voted against amendment to include more relief for farmers in Farm Bill

Derrick Van Orden voted against an additional $17 billion in relief for American farmers struggling with higher input costs, disappearing markets, and chaotic tariffs impacting their bottom line.

Van Orden voted NO on an amendment to the Farm Bill to include an additional $17 billion in direct relief to farmers.

Van Orden’s vote against desperately-needed farm relief is just the latest way he’s failing Wisconsin farmers, ranchers, and growers – from his support for cost-raising tariffs crushing the Ag economy, to his broken promises and failure to pass year-round E15.

DCCC Spokesperson Katie Smith:
“Derrick Van Oden owes Wisconsin farmers an explanation on why he voted NO on bringing home more much-needed relief funding, as they face higher input costs, disappearing markets, and a struggling Ag economy due to Van Orden’s failed leadership.”
