Following Mr. and Mrs. Khan’s appearance on stage at the DNC on Thursday night, Trump immediately punched back at this Gold Star family, suggesting that Mrs. Khan was prevented from speaking on the stage and doubling down by saying she “wasn’t allowed to have anything to say.” Equally offensive, Donald Trump likened his life experiences to those of the Khan family, suggesting that he too has “made a lot of sacrifices” in his life.
