| Congressman Ryan Mackenzie owes Lehigh Valley voters an answer.
Last week, major reporting revealed that Mackenzie has been ostensibly “embellishing” his resume by “fabricating” a career in real estate sales.
The article notes that:
- Mackenzie described himself on his own LinkedIn page as “a real estate salesperson.”
- His former state house biography cited his experience in “licensed real estate sales.”
- Promotional materials for a recent talk Mackenzie gave at Harvard Business School stated that he would “reflect on his career path from the real estate sector to public service.”
- A voter guide said that “Mackenzie worked in real estate.”
But when asked about his alleged real estate sales experience, Mackenzie and his campaign “would not comment on whether Mackenzie ever used his real estate license or made any sales.”
Mackenzie’s work in “real estate sales” has been the only private sector experience he has pointed to previously. Now, it appears to have gone up in smoke.
