Did Salazar Forget She Voted Against Cutting Costs?

This weekend, Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar falsely claimed that since she’s been in Congress, she has not seen any bills that help Americans with their pocketbooks.

The truth is, Salazar has seen plenty of bills that would directly lower prices, she just chose to vote against them.

Here are just a few of the cost-cutting bills Rep. Salazar has voted against in the past 19 months:

• The Consumer Fuel Price Gouging Prevention Act

• Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors (CHIPS) for America Act

• The Affordable Insulin Now Act

• The Lower Food and Fuel Costs Act

“Time and time again, Rep. Salazar votes against bills that will combat rising costs, then turns around and cries that no one is doing anything about it,” said DCCC Spokesperson Nebeyatt Betre. “Her blatant hypocrisy shows just how little she actually cares about helping Floridians.”
