Titus bill to provide clean water to over one million Nevadans heads to President’s desk for signature Dina Titus – who has been named among the top three most effective House Democrats – has done it again. Last week, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed Titus’ legislation to construct a new water pipeline under Sloan Canyon that’ll help deliver clean water to more than one million Nevadans. Right now, the growing parts of Henderson and western Las Vegas rely on a single pipeline for 40% of its water supply, making it particularly vulnerable to outages and disruptions.
