Disastrous Duo: Mayra Flores and Donald Trump Are Two Peas in a Pod

This morning, Mayra Flores enthusiastically accepted Trump’s endorsement.

Her eagerness to partner with Trump comes as no surprise given her unyielding support for Trump’s presidential campaign and MAGA agenda.

Flores is in lock-step with Trump’s unpopular and dangerous rhetoric and record:

• They are both election deniers. Flores has repeatedly come under fire for spreading QAnon conspiracy theories and right-wing disinformation online. Flores even went as far as claiming that D.C. police officers orchestrated the insurrection at the capitol.

• Trump wants to repeal the Affordable Care Act, jeopardizing access to health care for the 3,484,632 Texans currently enrolled in its plans.

• Trump told Congressional Republicans to block a border security bill for political gain. Instead of immediately addressing the border crisis, Trump wants the border to deteriorate so he can use the crisis in his stump speech against Biden. Days later, Mayra Flores was on Fox News saying “We do not need Congress to secure the border.”
