It has now been 10 weeks since Congressman Tom Kean Jr. last voted in Washington or was seen publicly. Kean Jr.’s office continues to refuse to tell his New Jersey constituents where he is or when he will return to work.
If he and his office won’t answer to the public, it’s worth asking some of Kean Jr.’s friends and allies about his whereabouts.

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson?When asked last night if he knows when Kean Jr. will return to Congress, Johnson – who has contributed nearly $800K to Kean Jr.’s reelection campaigns – replied: “I don’t know.”
Donald Trump? He must miss having Kean Jr.’s automatic vote in Washington – after all, the Congressman has voted with Trump 100% of the time.
Fellow New Jersey Republican Congressmen Jeff Van Drew and Chris Smith?Last month, POLITICO reported that even Van Drew and Smith didn’t know Kean Jr.’s whereabouts. Have they heard from the MIA congressman in the weeks since?
State Sen. Jon Bramnick? When POLITICO asked if he would be interested in replacing Kean Jr. on the ballot, “Bramnick declined to comment.” Worth checking in to see what he might be planning.
