This past weekend, the disgraced former president suggested that he would pardon people who attacked the Capitol and attempted to overturn an election if he were to win a second term.
In Nevada’s 1st district, extremists Carolina Serrano and Mark Robertson are both still vying for their ringleader’s endorsement. Will these two support Trump’s promise to pardon violent criminals in order to win his approval?
The GOP candidates continue to pose a very real threat to the institution they hope to join. Serrano even has a disgraceful record of pushing conspiracy theories about the January 6th insurrection, falsely claiming it was staged by the FBI.
