Do Mike LiPetri and Greg Hach Agree With Donald Trump That We “Can’t” Afford Medicaid, Medicare, or Child Care Because of His Iran War?

Long Island families deserve a straight answer

Long Island families are already paying the price for Donald Trump’s reckless agenda, and MAGA extremists Mike LiPetri and Greg Hach owe them answers.

According to recent reporting from NBC News, Trump said it’s “not possible” for the U.S. to fund Medicare, Medicaid, or child care because “we’re fighting wars” — signaling he’s willing to rip away health care and raise costs on working families to bankroll his wildly unpopular war in Iran.

But the Iran War is already hammering Long Islanders’ wallets here at home. As the largest monthly jump in gas prices in six decades caused a sharp spike in inflation last month, gas prices on Long Island spiked 18.2% in March – the fastest increase in nearly 4 years.

But Mike LiPetri and Greg Hach? Silent.

LiPetri has proudly embraced Trump’s endorsement, has supported his reckless war overseas, and has raised over $200K at Mar-A-Lago. Hach doubled down on Trump’s cost-raising war.

Now they both owe Long Islanders an answer: Will they condemn Trump’s plan to gut health care and raise costs to fund his war in Iran?

DCCC Spokesperson Riya Vashi:
“Will Mike LiPetri and Greg Hach stand with Long Island seniors, families, and workers — or will they stand with Donald Trump and his plan to gut Medicare, Medicaid, and child care while costs skyrocket from his wildly unpopular war in Iran? Hardworking Long Islanders deserve to know.”
