As GOP candidates in Nevada continue to duke it out in their primary circus ring, NV-03 candidate Noah Malgeri is trying to pass the extremism litmus test.
In a shocking new interview, Malgeri suggested that General Mark Milley, who serves as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, should forgo a congressional commission and instead be executed on live television:
“Just convene a court-martial, and forget it.” […] “if he’s guilty of it by a court-martial and so forth, they should hang him on CNN. I mean, they’re not going to do it on CNN. But on C-SPAN or something.”
Now his fellow GOP candidates have a choice: will they denounce Malgeri’s calls for violence against a top US General, or will they condone his extremist behavior?
DCCC Spokesperson Johanna Warshaw:
“Noah Malgeri’s violent comments serve as a reminder that extremism is a staple of the Republican party. Nevadans deserve to know where each NV-03 GOP candidate stands when it comes to Noah Malgeri’s calls for violence against a top U.S. General. But for right now, their silence says it all.” |
