Does Desmond Agree with Trump’s Closing Message? “I Don’t Give a Damn” about Gas Prices, “We’re Making a Freaking Fortune.”

With one week until Election Day, Republicans’ closing message couldn’t be clearer. Higher costs for you, record profits for them: 

TRUMP ON HIGH GAS PRICES: “We’re making money like this country has never made before…I can just see the fake headlines: ‘President Trump is talking about all the money they’re making while people are suffering at the pump’…I don’t give a damn… We’re making a freaking fortune.”

As Californians are getting crushed paying above $6 a gallon for gas — Trump DGAF, and neither does his loyal foot soldier Jim Desmond – who has repeatedly dismissed higher gas prices as “no pain, no gain,” and said “President Trump is right” about the Iran war.

DCCC Spokesperson Anna Elsasser: 
“Donald Trump and Jim Desmond clearly don’t give a damn about your gas prices. Southern California families have had enough of paying the price for their callous agenda and unprecedented corruption. Desmond is going to lose in 7 days because of it.”
