Now that Republican Eddy Aragon has entered the race for New Mexico’s 2nd Congressional District, voters deserve to know where he stands on the GOP’s Big, Ugly Bill that would raise costs on New Mexican families, rip away health care from almost 40,000 people and gut food assistance for nearly 70,000 households in NM-02 alone.
So here’s a simple question for Aragon: Do you support House Republicans’ disastrous bill that makes the largest cuts to Medicaid in history in order to fund more tax cuts for billionaires?
We know where Aragon’s loyalty lies. He is a three-time failed candidate for Congress, Mayor, and Republican Party chair who has already shown his extreme MAGA cards, saying he would “absolutely consider” Trump’s early actions in Washington to “be a success, not a failure.”
