It’s the week of Roe v. Wade’s anniversary, and CO-08 GOP candidates Barbara Kirkmeyer and Lori Saine are hurriedly trying to out-do themselves when it comes to denying women their basic human rights. But one candidate has been noticeably silent: Janifer Kulmann.
Kirkmeyer spoke at a rally where she said a bill to ensure access to abortion and contraception “scares the heck out of me” and introduced a bill to create a state abortion registry. Meanwhile, Saine took to Twitter to say that “it’s time to END abortion in America” – despite the fact that Coloradans have repeatedly reaffirmed support for legal abortion at the ballot box by large margins.
