Now that Republican Javier Lopez has entered the race for California’s 13th Congressional District, voters deserve to know where he stands on key issues that would raise Californians’ cost of living.
So here’s a simple question for Lopez: Do you support House Republicans’ disastrous bill that makes the largest cuts to Medicaid in history in order to fund more tax cuts for billionaires?
In a botched precursor to his announcement, Lopez already received backing from failed candidate John Duarte – who’s all-in on this extreme agenda. If Lopez agrees, that means higher costs for Central Valley families and devastating cuts to health care.
