| Congresswoman Jen Kiggans’ Republican colleague Congressman Scott Perry is making national headlines for disparaging the service of Democratic veterans. Perry said that Democratic veterans only serve our country to “get the credential” and that they “hate the military” and “don’t support America.”
Congressman Perry’s comments were so offensive that the House Democratic Veterans Caucus issued a statement signed by at least 18 lawmakers calling for a formal apology. A Republican veteran in Perry’s district has spoken out. But Jen Kiggans has been silent.
