With 8 days until Election Day, Republicans’ closing message couldn’t be clearer. Higher costs for you, record profits for them:
TRUMP ON HIGH GAS PRICES: “We’re making money like this country has never made before…I can just see the fake headlines: ‘President Trump is talking about all the money they’re making while people are suffering at the pump’…I don’t give a damn… We’re making a freaking fortune.”
As Alaskans are getting crushed paying above $10 a gallon for gas in some villages — the president DGAF, and neither does Nick Begich, who has voted with his reckless agenda of chaos and higher costs 100% of the time.
Begich is also no stranger to blatant corruption. As a multi-millionaire himself, he voted to gut more than a trillion dollars from Medicaid and SNAP to give tax breaks to the top 1% – while personally profiting from those policies himself.
