Today, Governor Ron DeSantis went even further in his crusade against women’s rights when he suspended an elected prosecutor who vowed not to criminally prosecute women and their doctors for seeking or providing safe abortions.
Does Rep. Salazar agree with DeSantis punishing elected officials in order to ensure women and their doctors are jailed for seeking necessary care?
While Republicans falsely claim “abortion isn’t the winning issue Democrats think it is,” it’s obvious from conservative Kansas’ vote on Tuesday that it is a motivating force. Florida Republicans should heed the warning.
