Last night, Politico reported on an initial leaked Supreme Court opinion that stated, “We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled” by the majority.
This came on the heels of a Washington Post report that Republicans plan on pushing a 6-week national ban on abortion and other states criminalizing abortions.
The NRCC – led by Tom Emmer, who is co-sponsoring legislation to ban all abortions and certain types of birth control such as IUDs – has added Baugh to its Young Guns list. Baugh has also been endorsed by Kevin McCarthy, who this morning voiced support for the draft decision overturning Roe. Does Scott Baugh agree with his Washington ringleaders?
Reminder: Recent national polls find around 70% of Americans oppose overturning Roe.
