Coming off his worst primary performance ever despite outside groups spending more than $1.3 million to save him, Don Bacon is eager to campaign with Trump, telling KFAB that he would welcome Trump to Nebraska and bragging that their records are aligned.
He’s not wrong about their records being aligned; Bacon has spent his time in Congress caving to Donald Trump and helping enact his MAGA agenda. That’s why he endorsed Trumpthreetimes.
Their agenda has been disastrous for middle class families in Nebraska. Bacon has:
Supported a national abortion ban, like Trump. Bacon even co-sponsored the Life at Conception Act threetimes, which would ban abortion with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the woman’s life and could end access to IVF fertility treatments.
Backed Trump’s tax scam that gave handouts to big corporations while raising taxes on middle class families.
Said “hell yes” to Trump’s plan to repeal the Affordable Care Act, which would put 295,000 Nebraskans with pre-existing conditions at risk of losing coverage.
