Don Bacon Brings Anti-Abortion Extremist Mike Johnson To Nebraska, Accepts Endorsement

Don Bacon got his wish to have Mike Johnson campaign for him, bringing the most extreme Speaker in modern history to Nebraska for a fundraiser.

But Bacon didn’t stop there in his quest to cozy up to the anti-abortion extremist; he was “honored” to receive Johnson’s endorsement.

Johnson has repeatedly voted to hurt Nebraska families, including:

• Pushing for a total abortion ban without exceptions – just like Bacon.

• Leading efforts to slash Social Security and Medicare as the chair of the Republican Study Committee. Bacon himself has called to raise the retirement age.

• Working to overturn the 2020 election – the New York Times named him “the most important architect of the Electoral College objections.”

• Like Bacon, voting against the CHIPS and Science Act, which is creating good-paying manufacturing jobs in Nebraska.

• Voting against capping insulin costs and allowing Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices for Nebraska seniors – just like Bacon.
