Looks like Don Bacon has nearly a million more reasons not to run for reelection as his 4th largest financial backer, Elon Musk, called for him to be fired.
Last cycle, Elon Musk’s America PAC spent more than $864,000 on Don Bacon’s reelection campaign. Bacon was already under performing in his fundraising efforts, raising less than the average Republican in a competitive district.
This devastating blow to Bacon’s potential support came after he voted to increase the national deficit by $2.4 trillion.
