Last month, Don Bacon and the House GOP snuck in a provision to their billionaire tax giveaway bill to act as a “get out of jail free” card for Donald Trump, effectively allowing Trump and his cronies to ignore the courts completely free of consequences.
Don Bacon has admitted that he knew about the provision to prevent federal courts from enforcing contempt of court charges and voted for the bill anyway.
It’s clear that for Bacon, ripping Medicaid away from nearly 20,000 of his own constituents, making it harder for families to put food on the table, and taking money out of Nebraskan farmers’ wallets is fine with him as long as it serves his D.C. party bosses.
