Don Bacon is misleading Nebraskans on his failure to secure the border, claiming he’s “leading the fight to fix the problem.”
The truth is that Bacon refused to support the strongest bipartisan bill to secure the border in decades, falling in line with Trump’s marching orders and staying silent while his MAGA party bosses killed the bill because it would harm Trump’s re-election chances.
Whether it’s siding with MAGA Republicans at the expense of middle class families or misleading Nebraskans on his record, Bacon will do anything to maintain power in Washington.
