Don Bacon Pushes Anti-Choice Extremism as MAGA Nebraska Republicans Strip Away Freedoms

This week, Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen signed a new, dangerous abortion ban into law – and Don Bacon has once again refused to stand up for women in his state. 

In Congress, Bacon has championed extreme MAGA Republicans in their pursuit to ban abortion nationwide by:

• Joining 227 other Republican members of Congress in signing an amicus brief urging the Supreme Court to overturn Roe.

• Co-sponsoring a federal abortion ban that would not make exceptions for rape or when the life of an individual is at risk.

• Voting for anti-choice legislation that would limit healthcare access and potentially imprison doctors.

• Refusing to protect abortion, contraception, and interstate travel for abortion in the 117th congress – voting against each.

Since the new ban was signed, Bacon has spent his time arguing with people on Twitter, doubling down on his anti-choice stance, and making flippant comments instead of defending fundamental freedoms.
