Yesterday, the House passed the bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act, legislation that will reduce America’s reliance on foreign countries, boost our ability to compete with China, and secure supply chains through good-paying American manufacturing jobs.
Don Bacon voted ‘no’ – joining his GOP bosses in opposing solutions that will better America and in turn give China the upper hand and put our national security at risk.
This legislation, now headed to President Biden’s desk, will create jobs, strengthen national security, and help address inflation.
DCCC spokesperson Johanna Warshaw:
“Don Bacon’s vote against securing good-paying manufacturing jobs, strengthening our supply chain, and boosting America’s competitiveness worldwide shows Nebraskans all they need to know: Bacon would rather side with party bosses than deliver solutions for the American people.”
