Yesterday, Congressman Don Davis voted to protect vital programs that working families in North Carolina’s 1st Congressional district depend on, putting the needs of his constituents above tax cuts for billionaires.
While the House GOP rammed through their bill that would gut Medicaid for tens of thousands of NC-01 residents and slash SNAP benefits for 60,000 families in the district alone to give more money to the wealthiest people in the country, Congressman Davis took a stand for his constituents.
