This week, Donald Trump bragged about his role in stripping away women’s reproductive freedoms, saying, “For 54 years they were trying to get Roe v. Wade terminated, and I did it. And I’m proud to have done it… We did something that was a miracle.”
It’s clear that Nunn agrees, given he:
Raised his hand in support of banning abortion with no exceptions
Voted for “the most restrictive abortion ban in the nation” while in the Iowa state legislature.
Voted to allow states to ban abortion by blocking consideration of the Women’s Health Protection Act, which would have codified the reproductive freedoms Roe v. Wade guaranteed before the Supreme Court ripped them away.
REMINDER: According to recent polling, support for abortion access remains at record levels as GOP politicians like Nunn continue to target women and doctors for seeking or providing essential health care.
