| Donald Trump is 20 points underwater on job approval, and the situation gets even more grim when voters are asked about his handling of the economy, inflation, and reckless war in Iran, according to a new poll from CBS News and YouGov from the weekend.
That’s because Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans promised to lower the high cost of living on day one and end all foreign wars – but since coming to power, they have done the exact opposite.
As a result, Republicans are tanking in the polls despite aimlessly (and shamelessly) following Donald Trump. On every issue, vulnerable House Republicans have proven to act like rubber stamps for this chaotic and dangerous administration.
The CBS News YouGov poll also found that 53% of Americans say Trump is making people WORSE OFF financially. Even worse: 60% of Independents say Trump’s policies are making them WORSE OFF – up from 38% in October 2024.
