Donald Trump Jr. References Holocaust and “Warming Up Gas Chamber” – Does Lee Zeldin Stand By Anti-Semitic Remarks?

Congressman Lee Zeldin’s has endorsed Donald Trump and now must answer for his ugly standard bearer’s campaign.

Today, Donald Trump Jr. – Trump’s son and top campaign surrogate –  made a shocking reference to gas chambers used in the Holocaust, during an interview with a Philadelphia radio station.

While this is sadly not the first time the Trump campaign has dabbled in anti-Semitism, Congressman Lee Zeldin has also refused to condemn Trump’s dangerous rhetoric.

When the Trump campaign promoted an anti-Semitic image earlier this summer, Zeldin weakly responded, “I don’t think it helps him.”

Will Lee Zeldin now denounce Donald Trump and the comments made on behalf of his campaign?

“Congressman Lee Zeldin has wrapped his arms around Donald Trump, and now must explain to Long Island voters why he supports what is clearly an anti-Semitic campaign. If Zeldin fails to take a stand against these hateful remarks about the persecution of an entire group of people, it will be clearer than ever that he is too extreme for Long Island,” said Bryan Lesswing at the DCCC.
