| Today marks eight months since Donald Trump — backed by Jay Feely, Eli Crane, and Juan Ciscomani — pulled Arizonans into a reckless war of choice in Iran with no end in sight. Despite families paying nearly $4.48/gal to fill up the tank and watching prices soar on groceries and everyday goods, Crane and Ciscomani voted to support funding the war, while lapdog Feely remains “in lockstep with Trump on the unpopular war with Iran.”
Americans’ confidence in the economy is “in a tailspin,” with consumer confidence at a lower point than during the Great Recession.
The Feely, Crane, and Ciscomani-backed war in Iran has cost Arizonans an average $605 per household.
REMINDER: Trump said the war in Iran would be over in a matter of weeks, but after eight months, $47 billion in military spending, and more than $100 billion in excess consumer spending on fuel alone, the war is no closer to ending than when it started.
DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Jay Feely, Eli Crane, and Juan Ciscomani broke their promise to Arizonans to lower costs, rubber-stamping Trump’s reckless war of choice in Iran and raising prices everywhere from the gas station to the grocery store. Arizona families are sick of this endless war, and Feely, Crane, and Ciscomani’s broken promises are going to cost them.” |
