Eight Months Later, Coloradans Are Paying the Price for the Hurd, Boebert, Crank, and Evans-Backed War in Iran

Hurd, Boebert, Crank, and Evans repeatedly voted to back the war

Today marks eight months since Donald Trump — backed by Jeff Hurd, Jeff Crank, Lauren Boebert, and Gabe Evans — pulled Coloradans into a reckless war of choice in Iran with no end in sight. As families pay $4.40/gal to fill up the tank and watch prices soar on groceries and everyday goods, Hurd, Boebert, Crank, and Evans continue to throw their constituents under the bus.

Americans’ confidence in the economy is “in a tailspin,” with consumer confidence at a lower point than during the Great Recession.

The Hurd, Boebert, Crank, and Evans-backed war in Iran has cost Coloradans an average of nearly $600 per household.

REMINDER: Trump said the war in Iran would be over in a matter of weeks, but after eight months, $47 billion in military spending, and more than $100 billion in excess consumer spending on fuel alone, the war is no closer to ending than when it started.

DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Jeff Hurd, Lauren Boebert, Jeff Crank, and Gabe Evans broke their promise to Coloradans to lower costs, rubber-stamping Trump’s reckless war of choice in Iran and raising prices everywhere from the gas station to the grocery store. Coloradans are sick of this endless war, and Hurd, Boebert, Crank, and Evans’ broken promises are going to cost them their jobs.”
