| Yesterday marked eight months since Donald Trump, backed by María Elvira Salazar, pulled Floridians into a reckless war of choice in Iran with no end in sight. As families pay nearly $4.00/gal to fill up the tank and watch prices soar on groceries and everyday goods, Salazar continues to throw her constituents under the bus.
American’s confidence in the economy is “in a tailspin,” with consumer confidence at a lower point than during the Great Recession.
The Salazar-backed war in Iran has cost Floridians an average $581 per household.
REMINDER: Trump said the war in Iran would be over in a matter of weeks, but after eight months, $47 billion in military spending, and more than $100 billion in excess consumer spending on fuel alone, the war is no closer to ending than when it started.
DCCC Spokesperson Madison Andrus:
“María Elvira Salazar broke her promise to Floridians to lower costs, rubber-stamping Trump’s reckless war of choice in Iran and raising prices everywhere from the gas station to the grocery store. Florida families are sick of this endless war, and Salazar’s broken promises are going to cost her her job.” |
